Whatever your reason, you’re in the right place! At Season Homestay, our mission is to support and uplift marginalized communities in Nepal, with a special focus on helping children and promoting their development.

We run an orphanage/monastery/nunnery that has more than 150 male monks. Yes, these children need special support from all. With this view, we have a volunteer program in our homestay that supports these children with English language skills.

With the right positive desire and teaching passion, you can contribute to or orphanage. Our place is a male monastery. Each class consists of 15 to 25 monk students, with each class lasting 45 minutes. They follow a regular curriculum, including subjects like English, science, math, morals, and Nepali.

What Is The Time For Teaching English?

Orphanage care volunteering hours are normally from 7:30 am - 9:30 am in the morning and again from 4.30 pm - 7 pm in the evening. The days are normally 5 days per week with Saturdays free. 

The Monastery/Nunnery education volunteers typically get hours from 7 am - 2 pm with Saturdays free.

You can volunteer there to teach English at the local school time which is from 10 am - 4 pm with Saturdays, and Sundays free.

Actually, the volunteering times are flexible to match our guest's ambitions and travel plans.

Who Can Teach At Season Homestay?

Anyone with a genuine passion for teaching and a kind heart can volunteer to teach at our orphanage. It’s not about having formal qualifications or previous experience; what counts is your dedication and compassion.

How Much Do You Need To Pay To Teach Here?

Volunteer projects or teaching English in our homestay is not that costly. It is absolutely affordable and reasonable price that you will surprised of. Yes, you get many faculties along with volunteering in our place. 

If you would love to volunteer as an English language teacher at our Orphanage /Nunnery/ Monastery for around 5 hours a day, the cost will be USD 25 per day. The price includes all the facilities of room, meal and other comforts.

If you desire a beautiful, scenic place to stay during your traveling without doing any volunteer work, Season Homestay charges USD 30 per day. 

Well, these prices are absolutely attractive which can give you a butterfly in your stomach. You will not get to enjoy homestay facilities along with volunteering at such an affordable price anywhere. And we are a non-profit organization, thus all profits will be reinvested in the communities that we are building up.
